  1. Sorry but, finally, it doesn't work at all for me. The crosshairs and indicators are still there...

    2. Ho yes, moved HUD and dynamics shadowing works fine. It's just the indicators and crosshair that still there. Everything is in Binaries like usual.

    3. you should put 'DX9Settings.ini' in 'Binaries' folder. Make me know if it works.

    4. There is no DX9settings.ini with your files, so I put one from skyrim, but nothing changes.

    5. Ok, sorry, I've just figured out that the ini was in the ShaderOverride directory. I put it in binaries and it works only when I use the right click. It's the normal behaviour?

  5. Hello,
when I use this, I loose the subtitles presenting the mass effect at the beginning (just before the title screen "Mass Effect")
If this just happen at the beginning it's all right, but if not I would like to know when and which data will I loose again please? Thx

    1. No in fact I have the subs the rest of the time, but not when they describe the discoveries on Mars at the beginning, so I'm asking if there are some other times in the game at which I will have to turn off the 3D to avoir loosing data about history of the game?

    3. Ok! If a black screen lasts too long, I'll just disable the 3D vision to check ;)
      Thank you =)

  6. Hello!
To make this mod work, i had to install it not into folder "Binaries", but into the root folder of the game, i mean, into the "Mass Effect". Now mod works great, so, i decided to tell you about it, just in case. Version of the game 1.02, both DLC installed, Win 7 SP1 64bit, GeForce 301.42 Driver.
    Thank you for your mod.

  7. Thanks certainly... But this of fashions, almost nothing changes! Effects halo, on a background of water and a dust are not eliminated... Elements HUD, again appear almost in all collateral missions ! :-(

  8. Hey guys, first off thanks for all your hard work making these fixes-- they're well beyond my ability, and make many of my favorite games work in beautiful 3D. Keep up the good work :)

This fix caused some problems-- With the mod enabled I'd get some screen flickering while starting the game, and a hard freeze while trying to load a save.

After some trial and error I narrowed it down to F838568B.txt (Shadows?) in the VertexShaders folder-- If it's not there, the game loads just fine. I have no idea what that file does, or why getting rid of it fixes things, but I thought I'd share in case someone else has this problem.

I'm running 4GB GTX 670 and a 2600k, steam version of the game.

  9. this is an old fix, it will crash with GTX600 series... although I'm just making a new version of the fix with shadows and other issues fixed, I'll update this post when I've done.
